Sew busy!

I've had such a productive day! I've completed my silver silk hood and I love it!

Taking a photo of me in it was a bit of a challenge. The timer works on my phone but the photos aren't always in focus when I use it!

I didn't include shoulder gores like I usually do as I was trying to capture the slightly conical look that early 14th century art like the Romance of Alexander shows.

The embroidered decoration is typical for that manuscript too.
